Just turned 60 and recently retired. Married and 4 grandchildren. Came as a shock to be diagnosed as T2 but deep down I knew......just didn't want to get it confirmed. Diagnosed in early March 2020 with readings of HbA1c 82mmol/mol. (Not had test since then so hoping it will be lower now). B/G 11.1. Weight was 132 and height is 6ft.
Now I've faced it, I'm trying everything I can to control it. Bought myself a Tee2+ and use twice daily at various times. Average over 3 weeks is 5.9. Lowest is 4.9 and Highest is 7.8.
Have cut 80% of all carbs, eating much healthier and now down to 110kgs.Interact
