    Morning, not quite sure how I managed 5.4 this morning but that’s after a very very naughty Sunday, 3 or 4 roasties and the trimmings, sticky toffee pudding and custard for after and still on steroids and methotrexate. As my mum used to say, be grateful for small mercies!

    Hi, I’m sure you’ll get many more informed answers other than mine but I had a similar experience with my GP and nurse. Told me exactly the same. I’m on Metformin too 500mg 3 x daily. I tried to explain to both of them that unless I know what ‘spikes’ my sugar level it’s like driving...

    Morning all, 4.7 this morning. Still on steroids and now also on methotrexate, so pleased with my reading although they have been hit and miss. Steroids been reduced from today thank goodness and I’m due my Hba1C test in the next few weeks. That’ll be interesting!
