Nightguard app error (freestyle libre) ?

Hi, I have the same set up so that I can get readings on my watch. My Nightguard was also sending me bogus alerts yesterday. I just disabled alarms in the Nightguard app and they stopped. My watch is still showing the readings and my Libre will send me alarms if it needs to.

Low carbohydrate and SGLT2 inhibitors - warning

When this happened to me I had low blood sugars but was still in DKA. The dr In A&E had never heard of it and was going to send me home. I ended up being very ill and was in hospital for quite a while.

Freestyle libre sensor, causing shoulder impingement?

Another Libre 2 user here, with a similar reaction. Very sore shoulder and upper arm. Affects my sleep and difficulty in fastening bra straps etc. It only affects my left arm. Started off as an occasional sharp spasm and has gradually got worse.

Just be careful. I ended up in hospital with DKA after taking a flozin and it’s not to be taken lightly. I was very sick.

Going on Holiday - Airport stress!

I wore mine in my arm and just went through the arch. The spare in the box, I handed to the security man and he took it through to the other side so that it didn’t go through the x Ray machine. He knew what it was and didn’t bat an eyelid. I would echo the advice to take a finger prick monitor...

I love that idea! A cheese fridge instead of a beer fridge. You and I might be kindred spirits [emoji28] Thank you for starting the Christmas thread, I will read it today, sounds just what I need.

Thank you. I love books, so that’s a great suggestion. I might even treat myself to a non food advent calendar, so there’s a little treat every day leading up to Christmas. It’s really helped just writing it down and getting all these replies, so thank you to everyone who took the time to help.

Ooh cheese! There are good things about low carbing after all. I will have a good think before the big day and make sure there are plenty of things in that I do like to eat and won’t send my sugars silly. I’m not a big drinker so I’m happy to be the designated driver, as we’re at my daughter’s...

    Struggling

Hi, I am low carbing because it’s the only way I can keep my sugars in range. I take insulin, but I am so insulin resistant that if I eat starchy carbs then it doesn’t matter how much insulin I take, I can’t get my levels down. So, I know it works, I am just having a moment where I just don’t...
