I have had trigger finger for over 20 years. My local MSK service is excellent. I have had a number of steroid injections that usually resolve it and have had release surgery on one thumb and one finger.
Painkillers haven't helped me but I find soaking my hand in warm water helps and gentle...

Thanks for your support last week. Things are slowly starting to settle after a couple of scary sudden drops and I am now slowly redcing my insulin intake after 10 days.
Ok thanks. I don't use a pump so will just carry on with increasing insulin at meals and between if necessary. It still has a long way to fall so probably no need to worry about sudden hypos! As you say the benefits of reduced pain are really helping
