Posting an evidence based article wasn't enough to sway this lot. To be fair to her she is a nurse so to balance it out a bit she might have been right, but still, i'm a firm believer in low carb diets.
I am pretty sure this is either diabetic related or another chronic illness that has yet to be diagnosed. Does anyone else

Contrary to myth, you can take your own food in usually. I normally take peach water, beef jerky, peanuts or cashews, apple slices or dried fruit to munch.
I think I over reacted a little bit but I know needles can snap and I wouldn't want that stuck in my stomach forever! It might well be the new needles, if it happens again i'll say something. Haha :smug:

So I've been a diabetic for 9 years and today is the first time this has happened.
Bricks were excreted by me today, how can a tiny 4mm cause so much panic in a 23 year old? I injected as normal, waited 10 seconds and went to pull the pen and needle away from my stomach...
Does this happen to anyone else, my optimism is wavering. Im still holding out for my Daniel Darkes hidden Gene to take affect :hilarious:
