And for those who are considering using direct to watch on an apple watch.
1) Yes, it loses connection sometimes but turning the phone and/or watch off and on seems to fix it.
2) Google apple watch dexcom complication. (Basically you can add the dexcom app to a watch face so that your bg is...
Like @Chas C I'm on the t-slim, which in my experience very much depends on you having manually set the correct-ish basal rates. When my bg goes high I have to manually add extra insulin because I become much more insulin resistant if my bg goes above 10.... (My pump assumes the insulin...
Personally I would need to eat a lot less carbs than you to go into nutritional ketosis. But you seem to be atypical in a number of ways so I guess this could be just one of them....
Is your endocrinologist absolutely certain you are LADA and not something rarer (eg MODY, T3C, etc etc)?

I agree with @lovinglife , cheese is my kryptonite as regards weight gain. (Still slightly heavier than my ideal weight but not enough to make me want to actively pursue weight loss strategies, just not gain back any.)
Just an update to say that direct to watch does work with a apple watch SE 3 GPS ... (Though it's currently "temporarily not working", so I have to keep the phone nearby.)

I agree with @grantg that pain/stress can put up blood pressure and I personally am a fan of using bp meds if you need them. (Not obvious to me that your levels are quite high enough...
I've been playing with my new iphone and though I'm very happy to be able to see my bg when my phone isn't in use, the widget is realy really tiny.....
OH, an untrusted source on the internet is telling me that a Apple Watch SE (2nd Generation) is often referred to informally as the SE 3. Anyone know if this is true???
Just an update as I bought a new iphone and have just managed to both get my sensor working on it but also paired my old fitbit watch.
Now I am suffering from extreme frustration because I want to buy a watch that I can directly pair to the sensor but all the watches on the compatible list...

Edited to add. Not suggesting that you have this, it's luckily rare for T2s (though not for undiagnosed T1s), but it is a medical emergency.
Not yet, but I am now. They look great. Guess what my dad is getting for Xmas?
Other suggestions welcomed though.
I'd like him to have the opportunity to do some taste testing....
