    it's ultra fine 4mm needles I have. I bruise very easily in general too.

    Every time I inject my insulin I develop a bruise - whether it is the 30 units of levemir or right down to 5 of novorapid. At least it helps me keep track of where to inject next! I can generally tell how many days ago i used each site due to the colour of the bruise. Just wonder if anyone...

    Just had to be away from home for the weekend. Was given a 1 litre sharps box when I was diagnosed a couple of months ago but it was too big to take with me. How do you dispose of your sharps when you are away from home for a few days?

    thanks very much for that link. Understand a bit more now. This reading was taken once I had been on insulin for approx 8 weeks so presuming the levels would have been even higher before that. working hard on doing everything right now.

    diagnosed a couple of months ago and on Humulin 3 26am and 18 pm. Blood glucose levels coming back to normalish range. Just had results of first HBA1C which was 109 but no idea what this means or what is normal?
