Adding honey to yoghurt and fruit.

I love honey, and have a teaspoon every morning, it's my one little pleasure, also staves off my hayfever. I have always bought local honey, from the local green grocers. It's produced 1mile from me, have visited the bee farm, seen how they put it in the jars etc, so it's 100% honey. Love the...

    Way out readings

That would mean my averages are all wrong. Am I concerned unnecessarily?

    Way out readings

How come this mornings bs was 7.8 which I thought quite high, so did another straight away with the same finger and it was 7.2. It can't have gone down that quickly! This is not the first time. The other day, I had a reading of 9, did it again and went to 6.4. I want accurate readings, while...

    Different readings

I had a reading this morning of 9.1, thought it odd so re did it a minute later and it was 7! My meter is quite new true love, but not trusting the readings. Is there a way of resetting it?

Lovely Fruit oh how I miss it!

Thought I was doing the right thing by ordering my fruit delivered to my door by a new local entrepreneur, each week. Lovely box came last night, but can only really eat the strawberries, and there is only 2 small punnets. It has a lovely yellow melon, bananas - huge ones, pears, apples, grapes...

    Metformin Question

Metformin hasn't helped me. I went to Drs and diagnosed in 2012. I was told I was 4lbs overweight. I have lost 8lbs but thru diet. So if it is for overweight people, should I be on it?

    Fasting good or bad

Hi, when you say 'fasting' do you mean not eating/drinking anything for two days? If that's a silly question, sorry but would be interested if this helps. My bs seems to have a mind of its own at the moment? On metformin, and following lchf diet and exercise , but bs is not going down.

    Homeopathy and Diabetes

I went to a herbalist three years ago, who made up a 'potion' for me. It had fenugreek, liquorice, coriander, camomile and other stuff as I recall. Took it for nearly three months with no real difference to my bs. At the time I had just been diagnosed t2 so would try anything. I do however go...

    Annoyed with myself

Thanks everyone. I awake with new vigour and will ditch the sweet pots for now, or have so much! Just a shame as I love them and so do the family. I will try boiling and mashing them in a few weeks to see if that has an effect @Paul59.
