My optician suggested Hylo Forte, and when I was still struggling with dry eyes, the hospital eye clinic Consultant prescribed Hylo Night (it's an ointment). I now get both on prescription and like them. Edited to add - they can both be bought over the counter.

It could be that an increased prescription for Pregablin or another medication would help. Likewise maybe 2 different medications together may be more effective as @grantg mentioned. If you haven't already tried that, you could maybe discuss the possibility with your GP.

Where did you keep your insulin, and if you needed to give extra insulin outside of meals, what happened?

Could you send to Dexcom for a free trial, and either use that for 10 days along with the Libre, or as the only cgm?

Apologies I obviously read it too quickly!

I think the difference is that in previous trials/patients they had to take immunosuppressant drugs for the rest of their lives, whereas this trial has a drug given once beside the islet cells.

I asked the receptionist, and she sent the practice manager a message, but nothing came of it.

You're lucky!! The practice manager at my surgery won't respond to letters or telephone calls to the surgery asking to make an appointment to speak to her.
