    Specialist diabetic team experience.

I'm type 1, and also have a specialist team at the hospital who are great. I email them when I need to and they either email back or ring if I request it. Nurse usually uses mobile, which I've got the number of, occasionally hospital landline (number withheld) which I don't answer, so they leave...

Have you seen a rheumatologist @Davids Roost , as there are medications that can help Rheumatoid Arthritis, that only a rheumatologist can authorise.

Have you tried taking a paracetamol straight after vaccinations and every 4 hours for a day @hh1 My mum's friend was told to do that by her Consultant son, and we've all found it really reduces/avoids reactions like this.

    NovoRapid takes ages...

Are you using Fiasp Flex touch pens, as they've been on short supply for over a year? Cartridges of Fiasp for reusable pens, should be available.

New here needing advice for a 9year old

I'd check getting some info about this quite a long time ago, and asking my family, but nobody wanted to get checked, so unfortunately I deleted it. I'm in the uk, so worth checking with diabetes charities etc here.

    3 libre2 plus in a week

Some people use overpatches or Skin Tac (which as the name implies makes your skin tacky @Worriedwife75 I preferred Skin Tac when I used Libre. Abbott will replace the one that's fallen off, so I'd contact them.

    Freestyle libre sensors

I know it's frustrating @Zilsniggy , but the NHS is struggling for money, and Abbott make them, so it's up to Abbott to replace them, not the NHS.

    Injecting insulin

Hello @LJE54 and welcome to the forum. I had this kind of a reaction to some insulin, and as @Antje77 suggests, I'd talk to your HCP and ask to try a different insulin.

Type 1 Dry skin at pump site

Cavilon cream or Cavilon spray is good. Use it prior to putting the pump on, and it creates a barrier, and then use the cream when she removes the pump as well. It helps to heal the area.
