When I was a lad it was a long while ago

I remember too. Fast approaching 60 years with T1.

Well done. We're all different @Tony337 but I wouldn't eat if I was in double figures either.

    Libre 2 sensor position

I presume Abbott will replace the sensor(s) you have to remove, the same as Dexcom did for me when I had an MRI.

Diabetic Nurse wants to discontinue Gliclazide

I'd suggest contacting your eye specialist for a supportive letter to continue Gliclazide, and as @Rachox said stand your ground

Sorry you've both had such trying times. Hope your sensor is now connecting @Tony337 and your next pod/site works well @Marie 2 Technology is great .... until it doesn't work and then it's a pain!!

    Test Strip Expiry date.

I'd happily use test strips that were only out of date by such a short time, (at least for the ones I use), as I've found them just as accurate. I can't comment on the Gluco Navii though, as I've never tried them.

    Type 2 Driving licence

It can be 1, 2 or 3 years. Have you had any hypo's where you've needed help, or any other medical conditions that you've had to declare to the DLA? Just reapply next year, and hopefully you'll get it for 3 years.

    High numbers

With Dexcom, the transmitters last for 90 days, but when it's got around 30 days to go (can't remember exactly), you get an alert on the Tslim pump itself, plus other alerts on the pump over the last 30 days.

Really sorry to hear that @Sasha1! How long do the transmitters last? Is there a way of getting warnings when the transmitter has only say a month left on Medtronic's pump?

    Issues with care team.

That may be what should happen, but didn't in practice twice when ringing 999 for my mum (suspected stroke on one occasion, and didn't want to leave her to open door).

What was your blood sugar just before you had the fish cakes etc?

    High numbers

How long have you been on this pump, as it takes a while for it to learn your diabetes. Have you checked your bloods with a finger prick test and input the results? Maybe still high because of your cold, or hormones (sorry I don't know your age), cold weather. If none of these apply, it's...
