    Dexcom One+ App

Hi, I am not sure, the thread on Reddit referred to iOS and my issue is iOS so I think it might be IOS only. Plus Apple recently launched an update so the two updates may be causing the issues.

    Dexcom One+ App

Hi, I have seen a post on Reddit about this issue. There seems to be a few issues with alerts since the last Dexcom update, Dexcom are aware and have contacted the app developers about the issues. There is currently no fix and no timeline for a fix. I suppose we’ll just have to wait for the next...

    Dexcom One+ App

Hi All, Not sure if this is just me or my Apple 15 plus phone but since the last Dexcom update to the app …….. I have my high alert set to 10mmols but when I restart my phone for whatever reason it resets itself to 14mmols. The low alert is not changed. I have reported this to Dexcom (they...

    Dawn Phenomenon

Hi, Thank you all so much for all your very useful replies and apologies for a very late reply but holidays got in the way. I am finding things quite varied at the moment, sometimes DP will kick in and I take 5iu of Novorapid to stabilise things, then take my morning breakfast dose and when my...

My DSN told me not to bolus until BG reached 17 if I did that BG would be 20+ by the time Novorapid worked. Crazy advice imho

    Dawn Phenomenon

My GP suggested Fiasp may help but DSN at infirmary said there was no reason to change from Novorapid. GPs here don’t get involved with diabetes management and leave it to infirmary.

    Dawn Phenomenon

Hi all, I was diagnosed as type 1 at the age of 5 and now at the grand old age of 71 I think I maybe suffering with the dreaded dawn phenomenon or foot on the floor thing. When I wake my sensor reading is about 5 get up and move around and it shoots up to 10+ I have increased my Novorapid from...

NovaRapid & after meal blood spikes

GP has referred me twice, but you are seen by the DNS first regardless and the consultation goes no further. There is definitely politics at work here

NovaRapid & after meal blood spikes

Unfortunately no letter that I know of, but he emphasises this point whenever I see him. I have just heard today I have managed to get an appointment face to face with my GP Friday afternoon so going to see what he suggest.

NovaRapid & after meal blood spikes

I have, but never been referred, lived here for 13 years and never seen a consultant, just managed by DNS

NovaRapid & after meal blood spikes

It was the hospital DNS, they say they will only consider changing the Novorapid if I am using over 70iu per day. Also I have diabetic retinopathy, blind in my right eye, extensive laser to my left. Consultant ophthalmologist says keep Hba1c as low as possible and DNS says don’t give control...

NovaRapid & after meal blood spikes

Same thing happening to me, I have been on Novorapid and Lantus for the last 28 years (type 1 now for 66 years ) I now try and bolus at least 30 mins prior to eating but still sometimes get a spike. My GP suggested to my DSN that my insulin should be changed but for some reason they have refused.

    Novorapid Penfill

Anyone else having difficulty obtaining the Novorapid 3ml penfill cartridges. My pharmacist told me yesterday they were having difficulty obtaining these. Fortunately I do keep a standby supply so not desperate but maybe rather worrying for future insulin supplies Iain
