My DSN told me not to bolus until BG reached 17 if I did that BG would be 20+ by the time Novorapid worked. Crazy advice imho

My GP suggested Fiasp may help but DSN at infirmary said there was no reason to change from Novorapid. GPs here don’t get involved with diabetes management and leave it to infirmary.

Same thing happening to me, I have been on Novorapid and Lantus for the last 28 years (type 1 now for 66 years ) I now try and bolus at least 30 mins prior to eating but still sometimes get a spike. My GP suggested to my DSN that my insulin should be changed but for some reason they have refused.

I have a 2022 iPad Pro M1 and Dexcom don’t support that for the 1+ app but do support the Clarity app. I suppose their thinking is you always have your phone hence the 1+ app but don’t always carry your iPad Cheers Iain
