Most of my itching is around my lower legs and ankles, My GP prescribed Doublebase Gel which is in a Pumppack and supplied by Dermal Laboratories UK, It stops the itching and also has a cooling effect on the skin, I Have type 2 and taking Metaformin tablets 500mg 4 a day

I was diagnosed with Type2 Diabetes in April 2011, on Metaformin 2000mg a day, and my weight loss up to today is two and a half stone, i also know a friend that has lost 3stone in 12 months

Thankyou for all your welcome comments. I have seen my GP today, and sent me to my local hospital for a chest xray, and also some further blood tests to be taken next Monday. He seems to think it is dietry problem,but needs to be sure.
