Thanks, have been diabetic for 39 years. Control has been an issue for a while tho trying to sort out. Ametriptilean unfortunately not an option due to allergies. ... will ask the consultant when at clinic next. Don't know why some drs get it wrong?

Was at specialist a few weeks ago. Been having pins, needles & numbness in hands. Think it's down to side effect of neutrafuratoin(antibiotic ) but asked would it be neuropathy. He said it started in feet and it couldn't be that???? Is this true?

Hi' diabetic 29 years. Was taken off human insulin due to to allergic reaction. Was changed to animal (pork) insulin. 2 years ago. Now starting to get adverse reaction to this. Anyone else with this problem... any solutions? Think it is the preservatives that cause the problem. Help anyone??

specialist doesn't want to change insulin, has suggested a week in hospital 2 monitor sugars/00diet/reactions to insulin??? Think this would be unrealistic, not norm activity Tec, never mind Hubble & 3 kids. any one had to do this??
