Hi guys I'm type 1, I seem to be eating a lot more throughout the day, just wondered if there was a way for me to trim up but maintain my sugar levels in range.

Lately my levels seem to always be in range, I had some cake the other night and was expecting a high reading and it was 6, can't work it out.

Does anyone find this weird I'm type 1 and the last 3 days I've been eating what I want cake chocolate loads of foods high in carbs, and my sugar levels have been either 5 or 4, yes I am injecting insulin but would expect it to be a lot higher?

I was diagnosed in October and I had a appointment with dr last week mine was 131. They said they aim for 49. Is this because I've only been type 1 for 6 weeks? Dr was a bit rude to be fair, saying how I need to exercise more.

Hi Ian I was diagnosed last Sunday with type 1, my vision has been all over the place. The DB nurse said it's quite normal. She did say it can last up to 6 weeks. Cheers, Jon.
