Hi all. New to the board and posted a little hello on the new member forum. I was diagnosed a couple of weeks back and had the first appointment with the Diabetic nurse on Wednesday and started taking Metoformin straight away along with a diet, increased exercise and weight management. Funny...

Diagnosed with Type 2 a couple of weeks back and had first appt with the Diabetic nurse on Wednesday. Started Meltoformin (sp?) and diet straightaway. Will post something in the other Forum re how I'm getting on. Look forward to speaking with you all! Jon
