    Type 1: I'm a horrible diabetic

Your not alone. This is me also. I have spells where i give myself a kick up the **** and im perfect for about 2 weeks then i slip out of it and back into bad habits. Diabetes is a life style and thats what i struggle with - i hate that something other than me controls my life.

I was asking every time i went to the clinic and i just got laughed at (same as you) and said that there was nothing that they could do because it would be seen as cosmetic. Luckily I...

    success! :)

for anyone that has read my posts before, some people may know that i am one of the unfortunate people to suffer from severe insulin lypohypotrophy around the stomach area. i have a rare form of it so when i say it looks disgusting and im ashamed to get intimate with my boyfriend because of it...

does anyone have the same problem that i am having at the moment. Im inserting the canula and pressing down on the sticky patch to keep it secure. A few hours pass or in some cases in the space of an hour it has ripped out of my stomach! i sort it out and then the same things happens again...

I dont know how i did it, and how i didnt wake up but the other night i went to sleep, connected up all fine, and woke up with my insulin pump on the bed, without it connected up! It cant have hurt me as i didnt wake and i had no idea how long i had been without insulin for. Blood sugar was HI...
