I assume that there is also the issue of approval for use as a medical device, and also how long it maintains the accuracy required for approval. No doubt the price would come down if more devices came to the market. However that takes time and money.

Just popping by to say that I had a procedure in hospital last Monday, they tested my BG, and the value on their machine was identical to the reading on my LibraLink. Libre 2+ sensor. Some kind of miracle, I think.

I did a private HOMAR-IR test a good few years back which showed some insulin resistance. Insulin level lower part of normal, but BG still elevated. Therefore some insulin resistance. I have never had any antibody tests.

For my own understanding. Can you be LADA when you are still producing enough insulin from your pancreas to require a significant amount of carbohydrates? My next step in medication is likely to be Gliclazide but I have had no suggestion (so far) of LADA.
