As far as I can recall I mainly fasted, and there were enough low carb things on the list to provide snacks. As I eat mainly low carb I am used to living on body fat so a couple of days of minimal food didn't cause me much hardship.

To answer the OP, I make no secret of my T2 because I don't care if other people judge me. Socially, it comes up if I decline cakes and other sweet things. I have been using Libre2+ for a while now and haven't had any total failures. I do have periods where there is signal loss (can be up to a couple of days worst case) but the sensor always scans and the signal comes back eventually. Noting that I am a self funding T2.
