I can get away with dosing for about an inch square of the cinnamon roll lol! The other half is lasting a while!

It was good, but I miscalculated!!! A local coffee shop has been vegan for a few years now and they have malasadas, banana bread, macaroons, bagels, bowls etc that are all vegan. Of course a variety of plant based milks too. The malasada's go fast, they are really good, he gets them twice a week...

@Nicola M I'm sorry you have been doing so bad. Hopefully you progress as fast as possible and return to normal. Hugs and wishes for a full recovery. @becca59 Enjoy yourself! I hope it provides relief from all the stress you've had and comfort in your grief.

@becca59 I am so sorry to hear that. Losing a parent is very hard, not only the grief, but we are used to them always being there.

    Libre 3 Multiple failures

The form online is the absolute easiest way to ask for replacements. Abbot is usually pretty good about replacements, but they have gone through some phases in the past. I am in the US. I had 6 of the Libre 2 when they first came out that were bad, all 6 were from the same pharmacy, Abbot...

It's funny how we can forget something so important to us!!! A couple weeks ago I went through a phase of forgetting to take any insulin before I ate. Something I have to do everyday, every time I eat and suddenly I was forgetting. Maybe I was more stressed or something because I am back to...

@Tony337 So true about that!!! I would not eat at a 12 either! Well, if I was really really hungry, maybe a few nuts. But yea, it has changed how we deal with a lot of things. Can't just grab that sandwich to eat when we are hungry or we pay a price for it.

Currently I use 8 units of Lantus, split for 5 units in the morning and 3 units at night. But also in my Omnipod I have 17.10 programmed. (It's actually 8.55 programmed as I use Humalog 200 in it) I do pump and MDI both. I have been having a lot of site failures in my pods and wanted to make...

That's really nice @Tony337 . That's the small town camaraderie that used to and maybe still does exist in small towns!

I got highly stressed over something I shouldn't have, and my BG went nuts. My Bg level goes up if I take a hot shower and I thought it was going up because of that. But when I hadn't eaten and it still was going up I realized I had a pod/site failure and switched it out. So already too high...

Have you ever checked what your blood sugar level is when you wake up at night? If your basal rate is too strong it can be dropping in the middle of the night causing you to be hungry. I used to have that happen with my Lantus, that's why when I started it again I split the dose so I take a...
