Omnipod 5 & Freestyle Libre 2 Plus Hybrid Closed Loop

Hi Everyone, I was wondering can you get your raw data, BG and insulin provided etc, from this system onto your computer? It seems that you have to sign up to a data centre and your data is sent there automatically, but I'm not sure what you can get back.

It made Oi larf (serving sizes on high-carb snack foods)

Crisps are my kryptonite too. And they price a large packet just a little more than a packet a third of the size, I try not to even go near that aisle.

Libre - Anyone have a collection of old software?

My windows died a few months ago. On that computer I had software to retrieve data off of the old Libre1 reader. The installer was called "FreeStyle Libre Installer-ROW.exe". and it ran on WinXP ( and Win7.?) I have set up a WinXP Virtual machine, and would like to install this software. If...

    Spike after shower?

MammaJenn is using finger pricks, so she is saying it is a real effect. No libre involved.

Anyone know of Linux Software for Carsens meter?

Thank you so much @SimonP78, I did see Tidepool but it looks too complicated. Besides the application seems to be a conduit between the meter and their cloud platform, you must be connected to the web when running it. It seems to be aimed at providing processed patient data to health...

Anyone know of Linux Software for Carsens meter?

Thanks Simon, I'm not a Linux expert, but I tried wine and a VM but couldn't get them to work with the meter. Both of these seem to want a Linux driver before they will use the USB the meter is attached to, but the driver is a USB<>com. And there seems no way to tell the windows software (smart...

As the title says. I have had the Caresens for ever and used to get the data onto a windows computer as .csv. But my windows died and the new computer has Linux. And I want to do the same. Any help appreciated.

    I am NOT a diabetic ...

@HSS, [in response to I have never been treated different] You have never been told that "diabetes is a progressive disease, and that that your health will suffer the longer you have had diabetes". I have developed a number of other conditions since/in conjunction with developing diabetes. My GP...

    I am NOT a diabetic ...

I thought this thread had died. When I made the original post I was refering to in a medical environment. Sure people use labels for themselves. Judge, Professor, Reverend, Doctor generally to emphasise their social standing. Even sailor emphasises your special abilities. But 'diabetic'...

How to destroy caresens glucometers WARNING

I have been through several Caresens N meters. I find the weak point in the design is that the fingers that touch the contacts lose their tension and make a dodgy connection. So that you insert a strip and the meter turns on, but then can't find the strip and turns off. If you fiddle with the...

Just been woken by Libre 2 alarm - low glucose

On the occaisions I have woken in the middle of the night when I am hypo, I feel terribly hot and am restless and can't get back to sleep. I don't know if there are occaisions when I have not woken up. During the day I first tend to get single-minded, I have something to do and don't have the...

    Libre 2 - dumb questions

@LittleGreyCat According to nutribolts blog, the data is available over the Libre2s blue tooth. It is just the Abbott LibreLink app that does not have the ability to use this functionality. As was pointed out diabox seems to be able to do it.

A lot of questions about Xdrip+

Thank you so much @nutribolt, Edit: apparantly it is just the Abbott LibreLink app that requires the data over NFC. pity xdrips NFC is flakey. Even the Libre2 still requires to be scanned by NFC to get the data. Can diabox do NFC more reliably than xdrip? But Libre2 won't reach here for about...
