i am fully aware i may come under a tirade of negative comments here but i need some help/answers.
I was diagnosed earlier this year and i feel my diagnosis is as a result of years of eating disorders. :oops: :(
I think i may well have been type 2 for a good few years before...
Im surprised at the reaction on one of the dentist when told about his patients diabetic status.
I have a collegue who's mother -as a result of an undiagnosed and untreated hypo in the dentist chair while she was in for routine work, slipped into a coma on return to her home and died shortly...

Im currently on 2 injections a day of humalog 25. I hope to change to 4 injections per day. Was told this would give me greater flexability when it comes to excercise. :)

For years before i was diagnosed i was enjoying my fitness and was maintaining my weight in a healthy range.

It seems to me that the powers that be need to do a little more reaserch into the effects of the oral/internal/injected etc contraceptives with T1 and the relationship between a womans menstrual cycle and her bg levels.

my normal levels are normally round about 5.2 to 6.8.
im only on 2 injections a day so is it still possible to change doses frequently with that?
