Hi,
It definitely seems like your honeymoon period is ending. Sorry about that :)
It will be a transition period now of figuring out how much insulin you needed.
Btw, do you eat carbs before bed time? I have my sugar level increase a few hours after eating...
Good Luck!
Youre right, i think.
When your body isn't used to being low carb, it can do all weird things. As a type 1 and low carb, my insulin doses have definately dropped and HbA1C! :) so just keep doing it, maybe with a little carbs a day ( i do coated fish) and slowly your body will get used to it...
Wow. Im not sure how you managed your diabetes for so many years. I was on pens for just under a year and every time I spoke to my nurse, i asked- begged her for a pump. Now I have a Medtronic, its amazing though big. But very reliable. I have it now for 6 month and never had any issue with it.
Hi! Im sorry you dont have patience for diabetes anymore. Im with you... It can get really frustrating. If you tell your nurse about your burnout, she might try to get you a pump. (personal experience) Now have a medtronic and freestyle and life is so much easier!!!
Hope it all works out for...
Hi all!!
After 1.5 years of these highs and lows, i decided to try the low carb.
It does wonders, when i look at my Libra, it seems as though im not diabetic!!!
Definitely worth a try.
Hi!!
I am low carb now for 2 month, although my HBa1C is way better then it used to be, my blood pressure is really bad.
Im dizzy every time i stand up!
Wonder if anyone has had similar experience...?
Hi,
Welcome to Diabetes! :)
I would just like to share my experience, at the age of 19, I was diagnosed with T2. 6 month later, i was T1!
Good luck for your journey...
Hi!
I am diabetic for about 8 month now.
Wondering how long you need to wait for a pump.
Injecting is driving me insane. Having to always have the pen with me...
And people dont really know about me, trying to keep it quiet...
Hi.
Im sorry you fainted and had to miss class :)
I haven't had much complications so far... although type 1 for 8 month.
Did your sugar levels drop already?
Good luck
