    I have to take the SR metformin as I cannot take the normal metformin it makes me throw up. I even thought I was pregnant at one stage till they changed it.

    I also haven't been well recently. My Dr asked me has know one ever told you not to take your metformin when your not feeling well [emoji53]. For 16 years know one told me that. I took her advice and low and behold I felt better. Took 16 years to get good advice on a whim if her mentioning it.

    I often get a blood sugar reading of 4.4 to 5.2. So have to have a snack before sleeping. Not so sure about crackers and tea. Any suggestions ???

    This is ironic I'm type 2 and is taking slow release metformin and my hair has been thinning too. Have taken metformin before but didn't experience it before. Must check the make of it
