Unfortunately I can't even get the pen to give 2 units of insulin. When the plunger is pushed nothing happens.

I have managed to break 2 lantus pens this week. When I turn the dial it will not turn back when I press the button. I now have no pens left to give tonight. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Yes notified DVLA and insurance last week that I would be starting. HaB1c was down to 84.

Trying this first said it may take a mix of insulin. This morning was 7.8 and just before I left work was 8.0 although I did have a Tracker bar about 3pm which probably wasn't a good idea!
