    Critical Error

Critical error shows on the pump as a small pump icon with a cross on it then an open book with a question mark and if you read the manual it says it cannot recover from it. The alarm is deafening and cannot be stopped unless you remove the battery then hold in one of the buttons unti it stops

    ILL with a cold

You always need more insulin when having a cold. I have one at the moment and I am all over the shop. Trying desperately to get it under control.

    Basal rates

You should check your blood sugar levels 4 hours a head in this case and see how they are then and only alter in very small amounts A wee tweak is always better than a big one.

Mental block or senior moment.. remembering if insulin has been administered

Was beginning to have the same problem but a year back managed to get a pump which manages to store your history Still have to check to see if I've administered it occasionally. Old age I suppose
