On the issue of the libre alarm not going off, I have had this when my phone is plugged in to charge. Seems to work otherwise. Could just be my phone playing up but might be worth a try (if you have yours plugged in at night) :-)
Not heard about this but disappointing if that is the case! I have an insight and whilst I love the pump itself, none of the handsets to go with it have matched it in quality (extremely slow or impractical) wonder it that had anything to do with it at all. Will be interesting to see what happens!
Helll- Oh no that's weird. I didn't actually. I contacted the company and sent in the tubing and never heard back. Probably worth a try with them as they may know ?
Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is an app where you can easily import readings from libre and from accucheck mobile together? Can do it on my sugr app but would have to manually input all the libre readings in.
I've been told to log all my readings in one place which makes sense but it's so...
I have had the same about having to use the handset with the insight pump. Didnt know you could put the ratios in libre?
I am on the accuchek mobile meter which you then bluetooth to the mysugar app for calculations and then manually put it on the insight pump. I find it too many devices at the...
Thanks for your replies. Interesting about the temperamental bluetooth and I agree that it is bulky. I dont want to faff around with 3 seperate devices everytime I need to test/dose.
Guess I'll get used to it or just not sync with the app probably!
Hello all
I recently changed from the insight handset /pump to the My Sugr app/Accu-Chek mobile and pump instead. I wondered if anyone else uses this and if so, how you find it?
I personally feel it is now more effort - although the insight meter was slow, this process seems much longer (and...
Hi all
I just wanted to check if anyone may be able to explain in simple terms what the numbers mean belofor the situation where the correction dose is a negative number -insight pump.
I understand it is saying it is minus that amount to get/stay in range but obviously it cant take insulin...
Hmm interesting. Yeah they said they've not really come across it. If it is something external or insulin interacting with wire or something I would expect others to have had the same issue!
Thanks for letting me know
They are going on what I said on the phone only ... but yeah it's a bit odd! They asked me to send some of the infusion sets to them for analysis but said it's likely going to be a while before its done.
Thanks for replying. When i ran the insulin through it does seem to be coming out clear from what I can tell. Yeah nothing came off the outside.
Readings seem fine and no one seems to think it's anything that's dangerous.
It's just really bizarre!
Hello all,
I have recently been having a problem in which the infusion set keeps turning orangey/red. I've had the pump since July last year and not had this issue until about a month go onwards.
Every time it happens i change all the tubing and cannula and I have changed sites completely...
