Ive been on a strict diet for the past fortnight. In that time I have shed 4kg. When I say strict I mean that I have adhered to it strictly, but it is not a diet of deprivation. Sensible eating during the day and a regular [healthy] dinner in the evening.
At the time (2011) my GP said nothing. It has happened again twice and after seeing an ENT consultant recently he confirmed the correlation. Just waiting for an MRI next month

It is a prolonged muscular ache which affects my mobility. I think my statins are the root cause of the issue, and I have an appointment with my GP on Friday to discuss it.
