Diagnosed with diabetes in January 2019 following blood tests after reporting significant weight loss. Blood sugar was just under 30mmols, Hba1c a mere 148!!! Type 1 and LADA suspected but after yet more bloods it seems to be Type 2 happily.

Now on Metformin, Empagliflozin and Sitagliptin and blood glucose finally approaching normal levels. A year on my Hba1c is 61, hence adding in the third pill.

I'm using the Low Carb program to monitor carbs and sugar intake ... have another stone at least to lose but don't think I've lost so much as an ounce since diagnosis. :-(
Trying to keep myself active so when the weather doesn't allow walking I exercise with the (rescued from the loft) wii-fit.
