Thank you, but slightly surprised by that comment. My comment was made on the assumption that people were looking for support from their GP and the NHS. Private medicine is a different topic altogether.
That was my confusion. Fasting to me was going longer than normal before eating something. Having read your response and other threads, people use fasting to describe the normal period of time between meals.

Good to hear people achieving their objectives and beating diabetes. My bloods went up to 62 from 54 over the last year.., which Is a kick up the backside. So determined not to accept more medication. This means being strict with myself and resist the temptations.

The comments on a number of the Blogs seem to focus on Weight Loss. While I appreciate the need to loose weight my understanding is that a low carb diet reduces the sugar intake and helps my body to cope with the need to process and control my insulin levels.
