    Yes, 4mm, I am quite thin. Change needles every 3-4 injections. I think its my skin, I get blue marks all the time from things like bumping into corner of bed etc.

    Great tips thanks! I want to spend as much time as possible outdoors in summer so probably will do some more shorter trips, the walk in Snowdonia you mentioned looks beautiful. I hope to travel to Scotland and Lake District too but need more planning for it. Thanks!

    In my case I did not have diabetes eye complications. It was temporary blurrines because of sudden change in blood glucose. I am not sure if there is a test to check that?
