Yes, 4mm, I am quite thin. Change needles every 3-4 injections. I think its my skin, I get blue marks all the time from things like bumping into corner of bed etc.

Hi everyone, weird question here: Basically I am getting really frustrated with constant blue marks from pen injections. Its on my legs, stomach, hands, buttox. Thinking of tattoing my skin instead ‍♀️ Are there any tattooed T1s who inject into tattoed skin? Is it ok? Thanks!

I was diagnosed with T1 and finding this forum was a massive help. I did not think actually that it is T2 mostly. I just really appreciate help and support and the fact that members are so active. I would always get a reply. So I dont think isolating T1 is necessary nor that it would improve...

Hi, I just went for my first hiking trip after being diagnosed with T1. I went to peak district and what an amazing weather and such a nice views! I barely used any bolus insulun and when I did I had to chew all my glucose tabs because my BG was going low and seemed not to be getting back up...

In my case I did not have diabetes eye complications. It was temporary blurrines because of sudden change in blood glucose. I am not sure if there is a test to check that?
