Hi,
I am type one diabetic and I suffer with IBS. I'm really struggling at the moment. I'm trying to highlight my triggers with food and find out what gives me stomach ache, bloating.....the common IBS symptoms. One thing I have found is that when I am experiencing these symptoms my blood...
Hi, just wondering if anyone can help or has experienced any of the following problems.
I am currently on the tandem t-slim insulin pump, I'm going to the gym and I have increased my physical activity more to lose weight and gain better control with my diabetes.
My pump keeps falling...
Hi I have been on the Tandem T-slim control IQ since August and it's really helping me. I am seeing alot of improvements in my blood sugars and I'm gaining alot more confidence.
I just have a couple of issues. I wear the pump on my waist band and working as a nursery nurse I'm constantly bending...
Ah thank you very much. I thought they were going to charge me per box of insulin vial. £18 is definitely do able. Thank you very much. I was actually at the diabetes centre today and the doctor has wrote me out a prescription to pick up 2 vials from the hospital, so I'll just keep ringing the...
Basically got myself into a little bit of a muddle.

I did go to a doctor a couple of months ago and as my feet...
Hi I'm not entirely sure who to contact, I phoned boots who did my eye screening last year to see what date it was and it was April. This means I'm 2 months overdue my eye screening however I haven't received an invitation from the NHS to book an appointment. Any advice on what to do next? x
I don't mind the heat if I'm at home but hate it in work! I work in a nursery and today had 2 hypos. Luckily I always keep a bottle of lucozade in the room and glucose tabs in my pocket. My room leader was talking to me and all I could do was stare, the words were there but I just couldn't get...
It is a horrible disease. I find it more difficult that in my family I'm the only one who is diabetic both in my immediate and wider family, so in a sense I feel no one really understands. Things like that just really make you open your eyes.
