I am able to drink wine and soda, I tend to go for some of the low alcohol ones that have low sugar too, but I only drink them occasionally, I'm practically tee-total these days, and don't miss it at all.
I have just discovered that Bourneville do bags of large dark chocolate buttons, I have 8 and suck them slowly so they last, a bag will last a week or 2 as I don't have them every night :)
I only drink them if out and I just don't fancy a cup of tea or water, no harm in the odd one or two, but I would get a headache and feel bloated if I had more than that or on a regular basis.
I found that losing weight was easier by low carbing, slimming world was a good platform for me many years ago and I chose not to fill up on 'free' carb foods, but focused on the speed foods, especially vegetables and berries, you can make it work for you if you need the discipline of attending...
My Mum used to say "If you have eggs, you always have a meal" bless her:) I eat loads, hard boiled as snacks, fried/scrambled for a meal or crustless quiche with lots of veggies and cheese x
I tend to go for a gin with lots of slimline tonic, ice and a slice, but alternate with water (we alwasy get a jug on the table), I don't eat naan, rice or poppadums, just extra salad with mine.
I tend to grate a wad of cheese together (get it over and done with in one go) then store in a sandwixh box in the fridge, it's ready to use when adding as a topping :)
I tend to only drink them (a zero sugar/diet one at that) if out and am designated driver, I don't mind soda with lemon slices but sometimes just want a different taste, luckily I don't have a reaction to the artificial sweeteners that others do, and only a couple (3 max) as I find I get bloated...
