19th June 2018 - HbA1c 51
This means I have halved my diagnosis HbA1c in 8 months
24th May 2019 - MODY result negative
Doctors still unable to diagnose a type due to having markers for both T1 and T2.
For now, being treated as T1 on basal/bolus regime.
Ordered to take another c-peptide test to see current pancreatic function.
26th March 2019 - HbA1c 59
Still too high, but feeling much better.
15th February 2018 - Still 'Diabetic'
Following appointment with consultant, C Peptide confirmed as low and GAD antibodies negative.
Put on quick acting insulin (Humalog) 1unit for 10g carbs.
Being tested for MODY.
If MODY is negative, consultant has said I may never fit into either type 1 or 2.
Diagnosed 'Diabetic' - 1st November 2018 - HbA1c 103 - BMI 21.6
Awaiting C-Peptide and Islet blood tests to ascertain whether T1/T2/T1.5.
Current Medication - 4 x 500mg Metformin & 14 units of Abasaglar in the evening.
