    Lantus 18 units split 8/10 twelve hours apart, Humalog with each meal approx 5 units variable according to DAPHNE and 500 Rule.
    Exercise:
    At 64, I can still run up stairs, I never use escalators unless absolutely necessary. I play badminton twice a week for a total of 3 to 4 hours. I cycle or walk as much as I can. I enjoy all physical work.
    Likes:
    I sing and run a small choir, I get out and do photography, I garden, I do woodturning and woodwork, play simple piano music and duets.
    I like art and science, puzzles e.g. sudoku, hidato etc.
    Wildlife and photography. I consider myself an introvert.
    I love fruit, vegetables, dairy products and cheese but consider myself an omnivore.
    Dislikes:
    pasta.
    I like to keep as active as possible. I try and stick to my diet but life is too short to be obsessive about it.
    I am 70kg in weight and 1.75M tall.
    I want to understand as much as I can about my diabetes.
