Interested in picking up a Libre but its currently not released in the US and from what I have read the US version will not have a monitor and will only be scanned by doctors. So what would be my best route to picking one up? Ebay has the prices sky high.
Hey @TorqPenderloin out of curiosity what are you basic honeymoon levels? Iv been at 85-100 most days and thats with 10 units of Toujeo a day and no fast acting.
My doctor told me I need to test and have my results documented so my insurance company can see i still have type 1....to maintain my perscriptions....like its going anywhere lol
I took it. Still a new T1 here. I agree with Tim regarding how the survey felt while taking it. Felt i was herded towards a narrative with the questions if that makes any sense. Also the question about future concerns. Were all working to avoid complications in the future.
From what i have seen you can shower and bathe with it on. If your swimming in a pool or salt water i do not know if the chemicals or salt can muck it up.
As for feeling tired of lethargic and tired I have noticed no difference since starting in Toujeo. Also have not had any issues with hypos on it so far. Sorry I could not be anymore help.
