Thank you all very much for your input i guess its because my last HBA1C was 6.9 and my recent one was higher maybe thats the reason for the metformin just have to wait and see in 3 mths now thanks again your doing a great job. :D

Hi all had my 12mths HbA1C result today 7.4 nurse says i have to start taking metformin twice daily i had this 7.4 result as a good result is this a high reading thanks.

Watched a program on tv tonight on the program was a young lad type 1... i think doing abit of rugby training after training he took his blood sugar which was 6.4 then injected insulin why would he inject with such a good blood sugar reading. Thanks

Test strips stopped according to my health team all type 2 diabetics that dont take insulin will have their test strips withdrawn on prescription. received a letter yesterday telling me no more test strips from now on they say according to NICE guidelines we dont have to do it( self test that...

well cugila just tested again nearly an hr and its 3.9 so im having abit of supper now.

2.4 miles in 38mins blood sugar reading 4.6 looks like i burned the buns cugila lol.

No cugila they are of the tinned variety 2.1g of carb in each but looking at the ingredients they are full of **** thats what im talking about . 64cals in each aswell not to bad must be the buns lol

nutritonal value is probaly zero for hotdogs but you must admit boiled onions and mustard stunning lol better get hiking now. :D

Cant believe it!!!!! blood sugar went from 4.8 to 10.7 in 1 hr after eating 2 hotdogs just shows you the sugar in medium buns.
