    Received the Omnipod DASH

Hi I have a question, I have the old style omnipod, can the basal / bolus ratios be refined on the Dash ie 7.5 no 7 or 8 example I have bolus 1-10, 1-9, 1-7, which is a little to much but 1-8 not enough to, so does the dash go 1 to say 7.5 ? Im unable to upgrade for 3 years, however I would...

New pod user.Readings are not going good

Your diabetes nurse should be able to advise time blocks. It takes a couple of weeks to get any old insulin out of your system. Be patient. You will in time have to do cab free breakfast lunch and tea to see how basal rates are. Give it time.i only started pod in August I am still ironing out ratios

    Freestyle libre reliability

    Freestyle libre reliability

I ve had the libre for 3 months and lost 1. It came unstuck the last 2 days of life. I find that you have to use the wipes to ensure skin is clean and give it time to dry. Its brilliant I'm so happy with it. Not as accurate as finger pricking a couple of m out . But saying that my hba1c has...

    Freestyle libre reliability

The rep told us to apply replacement sensor 24 hours before the old one ran out. This was so it got used to your bg. It's a good bit of kit not 100% but saves finger pricks

    Libre GP Prescription Issue

I have recently had a libre. I have had to attend 2 workshops. 3rd in July. Meet criteria set by NHS to obtain it FREE It's a great piece of kit however ... Not 100% converted. Not accurate all the time but it has helped identify spikes lows and basically made me look at what foods cause problems
