I use a pump too and have similar basal /bolus numbers to you though I am using a Roche pump.
I'd say you need to use the 24 hour system of your pump to adjust the basal rate e.g. increase the basal rate when you are finding you go high e.g. around dawn.
I think it is key to get the basal rate right firstly and then you can play with the boluses. You do tjhat by having 24 hours without carbs or this can be done in 4 x 6 hour stages across days if that makes sense? Easier to do if you have flash or cgm monitoring for your blood tests.
Don't make drastic changes! e.g. you could try going from 0.7 between midnight and 4 am then 4-6 am try 0.75. This may well help the post breakfast higher bgs.
Ideally you should get some help from a DSN or pump nurse with this though. Do you have access to that help?

Hi ,Thank you !
Yes I do have access but due to winter vacations she is not available.if I am not getting it wrong I should change my temporary basal rate for few hours.

The beauty of the pump is that you can set different basal rates for different times of day. Have a google of “basal testing” which will help you get your settings right for you.

As mentioned above, I'd be surprised if a constant 0.7 basal works well. Mine varies from hour to hour over 24 hrs. You do need to do basal checking/testing to understand this, it normally takes up to 3 months to stabilise your self when new to pumping and get your basal's correct ;-)

You also mention higher in the morning, this happens to most of us and we need more basal in the hours before getting up (look up dawn phenomenon).

I would say wait to see your consultant/nurse and get guidance before setting off to make these changes.

Looks like you are in need of some basal changes
1st thing to be doing is a basal test, to find out where your changes need to be happening
BUT speak to your DSN/pump team before you go ahead and start altering things unless you are confident!

Your diabetes nurse should be able to advise time blocks. It takes a couple of weeks to get any old insulin out of your system. Be patient. You will in time have to do cab free breakfast lunch and tea to see how basal rates are. Give it time.i only started pod in August I am still ironing out ratios
