    Omnipod Locations

I started putting the pods at the top of my arms about 9 months ago and it seems to be working fine for me, I alternate between arms every three days. I do occasionally use stomach area but that's were I put my Dexcom CGM .

    New Omnipod User

I really love the Omnipod, it is so easy to use and not having to worry about tubing is excellent. Yes the bleeping can be a bit annoying but it gets me to change the pod very quickly because I hate that sound, but I will put up with that to have what I consider to be the best pump available on...

    Pump or no pump?

I would strongly recommend the Omnipod, you don't have to worry about tubes etc and it is so easy to use

Please read before choosing a pump!

I use the Omnipod along with Dexcom CGM and find both very easy to use, in fact if it wasn't for the alarm telling me to change pods every three days I think I would forget I was using a pump it is so brilliant.

    Omnipod-has anyone got one??

I also have an Omnipod on NHS however I was initially turned down by my local hospital but my GP referred me to a consultant who got me a pump within two weeks. I will always recommend Omnipod because the freedom of not having tubes is fantastic and it is so easy to manage.

    Omnipod Is An Excellent Pump

I really like the Omnipod pump, it is so easy to manage. I have tried other pumps but Omnipod beats them all for convenience and easy to use. I just love it's simplicity

    New omnipod but slight pain

I think it is a good idea to keep the pods well away from any scars, I learned the hard way, I have a large scar from having my pancreas removed and suffer terrific pain if I place the pods anywhere near.

    Omnipod insulin pump

I have been on the Omnipod for nearly two years now and it really is a very simple pump to use, I did have a break from it earlier this year to try the 640g however I did miss the convenience of having a tubeless system so I returned to the Omnipod and I love it.

medtronic sudden battery failure-anyone else ever had this?

The internal battery on my 640 pump failed, however Medtronic replaced it the same day which was excellent service. Sent from my iPad using DCUK Forum

Omnipod where to put the Pods

I've been using my arms now for nearly a month without any problems whatsoever, I shall start putting pods back on my stomach again now that I haven't used that site for a month. I so much love the Omnipod (except the nagging alarm every 3 Days reminding me to change pod) but having tried other...

Omnipod where to put the Pods

After two years of putting the pods on my stomach I've started getting bleeding quite badly, so I'm trying putting the pods on my arms and so far all is good, my consultant reckons I may be hitting blood vessels.

    I'm getting an omnipod!!!

Excellent choice of pump, I have had an Omnipod for nearly two years and love it. Not being attached to tubes is a big plus, however you must be careful to have the pump with you at all times.

Any young adults/anyone on an omnipod? :)

I love the Omnipod and cannot fault it, not having any tubing attached makes life so much easier. I have tried other pumps but definitely prefer the Omnipod.

Type 3c - how many are we?

I guess that I am type 3c since most of my pancreas was removed due to acute pancreatitis caused by gall stones. I take Creon with all meals also. My consultant said I was type 1.5 so I'm confused. I am of course insulin dependant and am fortunate to have an insulin pump which makes life so much...
