    Libre 3 Multiple failures

I have not had any accuracy issues and hardly any Failures with libre 3. Id say libre 3 is great and the best version out there. With libre 2 i remember i had some sensors failing before 14 days passed. Also the nfc on my iphone eventually broke down, i suspect because of heavy use. With libre...

    Muscle pain Freestyle Libre arm

Exactly the same here. Pain remained present after removing the sensor, but it is slowly getting better after some days since i removed the sensor. I also experienced the tingling in my fingers on that arm. Indeed i do not have much fat on my arm and i tend to go to the gym. I didnt want to...

    Glucowatch

This says a possible release in 2024 https://ec.europa.eu/newsroom/eismea/items/796404/en But of course its the question if they make that and when it would be available in each country. Samsung and apple working on it forever in the meantim as far as i can see..

    Glucowatch

I found a glucowatch which promises to monitor bg in a non-invasive man er by just wearing the watch. Looks a bit like an ali-express item to me but has anyone tried it by chance? I also read something on Apple having a technology ready for non jnvasive monitoring, which could be introduced in...

Has anyone quit using Freestyle Libre?

I took the last one off as it hurted my arm, and didnt put another one on yet. I find it is way harder to keep my bg under control switching back to finger pricks. I really hope it isnt an allergic reaction or something. There are still no non invasive cgms right?

    Muscle pain Freestyle Libre arm

Since some days i have (muscle) pain in my left arm. It started at night when i tried to lay on my side or belly, so i have to lie on my back now. But today i also noticed the pain during the day. It’s exactly the arm where i have my freestyle libre sensor on. The spot itsself does not seem to...

Libre2 Skin Damage Over Time a Concern

In the beginning when the adhesive of the libre 1 was still a bit ‘aggressive’ some users here, including myself, used a compeed plaster. Made a small hole in the middle of the plaster before putting it on the skin, and then applied the sensor on top of the plaster. But you have to precisely aim...

Increased basal = increased fasting sugars

i take 2 or 3 units of fast acting insulin as soon as i wake up in order to correct dawn phenomenon. Plus i skip breakfast. Going for a walk or workout in the morning also helps to limit the dawn phenomenon. If i start the walk or workout my bg will rise further but when back in rest bg will...

    Libre 2 sensor and testing

They could also make it for an android watch i wouldnt care. Not going into apple/android discussions here. But when i started using libre 3 ‘normal’ readers were not even available and abbot primarily focussed on its app. Benefits of a watch app would be to be able to monitor your bg way...

    Libre 2 sensor and testing

I think everyone with diabetes and a libre would want it on their apple watch! I followed these steps to get the values on my watch: Its a shame abbott does not bother to make an apple watch app..they also did not make a reader for the libre 3..cant be that hard to make the watch app…i bet it...

CGM - Where do you wear yours ?

I wear the libre on my upper legs sometimes, at the same spot where you could inject insulin. For me it works but it is not recommended by abbot. Relax your leg (let it hang a bit) if you place it there, dont put it too low but als not too high on your upperleg.

High bg after drinking Sprite “zero” ?

Thanks for the efforts @Antje77 ! So apart from the taste, sprite should be alright for us it seems ;) In that case I’m not sure what caused my high bg..i remember i was at the gym and made a sandwhich (soft bread) with fried egg after it, took a bit of insulin. Normally no reason to rise to...

High bg after drinking Sprite “zero” ?

Maybe sprite is accidently using the full or half carbs version to fill up ‘zero’ cans? Or maybe its just me. I still have 3 cans left so anyone that wants to try let me know ;)
