  • Can anyone help me GAIN some weight, or is it hopeless for someone of my age (85)? I avoid bread, potatoes or pasta (or any form of sugar-containing food like chocolate, pastries etc.) I am down to below 11 stone, and 6 foot 3 inches tall. I do half an hour of brisk walking every day, and some gardening, but that's all the exercise I get. I eat 2 eggs for breakfast, and lots of meat and fish, and plenty of fruit.
