      Well done my friend... Keep awareness of what you eat and drink plenty of water.

      There is no reason I can see to stop you stopping metformin.
      You will have some left to take if you see your numbers start to climb.

        I have some to take if it does start to rise. I only see a slight increase after a week of no medication. I'll just have to keep an eye on it.

        That is always the plan watch how you respond and adjust the meds accordingly.

        If you need to take then again it is not a failure, just perhaps a bit too soon to take less. Drink plenty if you reduce your carbs and try to get a little exercise. Walking for 10mins after meals will help.
