It still works fine on mine.
When you say not scanning, is that from when you started the current sensor, or sometime after you started it stopped working?
Do you also use reader?

Oddly, I noticed my Samsung had silenced most alerts including the ringer volume with the installation of this app a few months ago? Which needed resetting. Strangely, the alarm clock still functioned loud enough..
Lol, I put down the missed calls to possible loud working environment, at the time?
