Type of diabetes
Treatment type
Insulin
I'm about 5 weeks into it now, and I'm starting to find that I am NOT hnugry at all at meal times.

Can anyone confirm/or deny this? (Anyone that's on a shake diet, that is).

Pretty sure I won't bother with a shake for lunch today because of this.

I used to be a counsellor for these diets.......

A few tips...... Keep drinking the water, DO NOT miss out any otherwise you will not be getting the vitamins etc that you need. Your body has become accustomed to your diet, you are what is known as 'fat burning' and therefore you will not feel hungry. Keep at it and well done, you will certainly get the results. When you have reached your goal weight, gradually introduce food, do not just start eating normally again. Very happy to offer support if you need it. :)

Invested too much time and effort getting GP on side ,,Would not wish to let surgery team down
ether, by not trying ,

To be honest have not found it hard at all ,or any hunger
Unless there is some kind of wall thats around the corner ?

Thanks for the offer Wendy

As it is so similar to the Atkins diet this is normal but you must force yourself to eat and drink loads of water. The weight loss usually tails off eventually and steadies to a few pounds a week, just enough to keep you at it! Good luck, and watch out for when you re-introduce foods. Should be done carefully and not too high carb or sugar or all your good work will be undone. Good luck!

Similar to Akins Ummmmmmm narrrrrrrr
As the Shake diet mix has a higher amount of carbs 20gm per meal even than the Boots Atkins ready meals .
What we now think
Why Patch had the problem was he had a Low carb Protein drink ie body building stuff experimenting He soon found , His BG went up as well feeling bloated

This Defrazzing diet does seem to need the carbs to help keep the BG down seems daft but away you go
I have never any felt hunger on this but i can always drink my shake no problems
also think of it as medicine to take it with all my other drugs

Only thing i get the feeling is that i should be havening something around 9 or 10 while watching the box as I normally have apple and cheese so more of a habit so I save my veg for then

Dont mention Atkins or low Carb to Patch were trying to get that out of his brain while doing this
