Not been taking metformin

Hi, I have not had my metformin for over a week. I am Insulin.

I re orderd my metformin from the surgery but there has been a problem
I reorderd them just over 2 weeks ago they have not arrived as yet I do
not know why I have been onto my surgery, and am hoping i will get them
today or tomorrow, My question is will do any harm not taking them, I have
never missed a day taking them since i was dignosed 12 years ago .

Hi. When on insulin, Metformin is not at all critical and only makes a small lowering of your BS but does have some other benefits. It's not a drug that has problems if you miss a dose so don't worry.
