Have been told the next time I'm due to change my pump I can either have the ypsomed pump or the medtrum nano. Would be interested to hear from anyone who is using either pump. The pros and cons thanks

Pump
Hi Steve. I just started on the ypsomed pump 3 weeks ago. It's my first pump so I have no comparisons but so far it's working well for me. I chose it as I liked the prefilled cartridges, app on android phone and working with libre 3 (which is tiny!). It's keeping me about 88% TIR and has sorted my overnight highs issue which is why i went on pump. The CamsApp is easy to use and only downside i have found so far is the cartridges only hold 160 units. By the time you prefill the tube you get a little less than 150 units available. For me that's sometimes a little short of the 3 days for a new cannula. Hope that helps. Good luck with choice!

I have just started on the Medtrum nano. I love the pump it is small and stays stuck on. Customer service is first class My beef and it is a big beef is that the app on my iPhone stops picking up the sensor after a few days or only picks it up about once an hour. My Abbott app works fine so I don’t think it is a phone issue and my phone picks up the pump . Medtrum are looking at this but have yet to give me a solution. I need to trust it and currently don’t

Fish , bad manners,
My second pump was the Ypsomed I really liked the size , look and simple ease of instructions and user friendly , I then had a choice of Ypsomed , T slim and Medtronic ( which I had used before and hated and was lucky enough to switch to Ypsomed after using Medtronic , can’t remember what model Medtronic was . I am now on Medtronic 780 with Simplera sensors , I loved the look of T slim but it was a wait to get , Ypsomed software not compatible with iPhone so my diabetic team steered me towards Medtronic 780 and I love it . Only gripe is a bit big to fit in pocket also I use 7 day infusion sets work well for me .

I love the 780 I had the tandem before and the 780 gives much better control

I'd rather sacrifice a little space in my pocket and have better control
