Aw that's a shame. Hope your on the mend. Migraines are so horrible. I always feel drained for days afterwards. Take care and plenty of rest.@MrsA2, it didn't! I woke up with a migraine and was sick. I really didn't feel up to it, spent the day sleeping in the darkened bedroom.
Oh, so sorry. Another migraine sufferer here so you have my sympathy. Annoying isn't it when they hit when something good is due. When working I used to frequently get one on Saturday morning@MrsA2, it didn't! I woke up with a migraine and was sick. I really didn't feel up to it, spent the day sleeping in the darkened bedroom.
It will be good to get the injection out of the way before your birthday so that you can relax and enjoy your birthday.Morning all. I've had 2 soft boiled eggs for bf. I have 97% sausages and fried veg for lunch and a couple of Ryvitas (sesame) with ham and cheese for later. I have an appt for my first eye injection, the day before my birthday! At the moment, I'm just taking a break from painting my bedroom walls Forgot how fit I used to be when decorating. Just finding out how unfit I really am!
very true. I'm relaxed about it now that everything is in place. maybe won't be quite so relaxed on the day tho!It will be good to get the injection out of the way before your birthday so that you can relax and enjoy your birthday.
Tinned crab is nice - better imo than tinned prawns. We were given a can recently and I expected it to taste of nothing, but it was very pleasant and the texture was firm. (We had ours in "pink sauce", a lower carb version of Marie Rose using tomato purée instead of ketchup)Problem - I can't get fresh crab meat here so am experimenting with tinned crab and maybe a few shrimps or prawns (if Neil can get them).
My daughter has become almost obsessed with genealogy, and while studying in London, has decided to visit all her dead relatives' graves there. (She gets to ride on a tram, another minor obsession!)Being a keen amateur genealogist, I am a great believer in having headstones to assist future generations, should they care to delve into the family history.
Sounds good. Neil brought home some frozen prawns to go with the tinned crab. I chopped them into small pieces. The tinned crab I have is not very tasty. I was a bit disappointed, but the prawns are fairly tasty. Along with the vegetables they'll make a reasonable chowder. However, "could do better" I think. It's on at the moment and I'll decide if it was a successful experiment in a short while.Tinned crab is nice - better imo than tinned prawns. Ours was Kingfisher brand (I think they're some kind of Asian as I've also seen them do bamboo shoots). It may just be that you're more used to fresh crab than me and know what you're missing!Sounds good. Neil brought home some frozen prawns to go with the tinned crab. I chopped them into small pieces. Actually, I'm not. Haven't had it in years and had decided never to have it again (just because of what the crab looks like) but way back then, it included the brown meat. I used 2 tins of crab meat - one was Kingfisher and the other was John West. I'm just about to add the fish to the soup and then it will be finished and I can try it.Ours was Kingfisher brand (I think they're some kind of Asian as I've also seen them do bamboo shoots).
