Conservative start id be happy with too. Less likely chance of hypo . Wish they were more conservative with all the changes here. Can't but help feel made liver way overworked when constantly had to eat junk to bring sugar levels up. Think I might research into private practice to see where the closest one to me is and see if it is within realms of possibility to do. Don't mind paying for treatment if faster! Paying though shouldn't be necessary to receive care someone needs especially when paying into the system for decades. Such a shame that so many people require to go down that route.Hi
I’m on lantus , as you probably know it’s a long lasting one according to everything I’ve read. The dose is 6 units as per endo recommendation. Chat gpt , when input all my symptoms and blood numbers in Recomended starting on 8. I’m happy for now starting in a conservative way.
The biggest problem is dealing with the bureaucracy which is called the NHS. - if I hadn’t gone private I’d still have another 10 days to wait to see a GP before being on a wait list to see an endo. Luckily I have the resources to by pass parts of this.
Good luck with your endeavors!!!
Onwards and downwards with your glucose levels hopefully not by too much
