What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.4libre 5.9 Fingerprick off for swim after breakfast. appt later on to try help with blood sampling needlephobic vein access. hopefully will mean local primary care at some point in the near future will try again rather than their current point blank refusal leading to unncessary expense and time wasted ferry trip then public transport chaos to get to another hospital. It would be nice if public transport could LINK Up without excessive delays (50+ mins) a trip that takes 15 min by car takes over an hour and half on bus. easiest solution would be for the ferry company to alter their timetable slightly same issue in reverse too with no link up. mainland trains don't link up either leaving just as the ferry comes in and departing just as the ferry is about to get it.
Winner for BG and a hug for the rest of the palaver.

5.8 today. I was surprised, thought it would be higher as I ate after my MRI last night, around 7. I ate carbs too…some almond flour crackers. So I’m happy.
Another lovely day…our lovely late summer is continuing. Went to the local provincial park today for a nice walk. The park is closing for the season sot was really quiet.
Gym was a treadmill walk and upper body weights.
I made a stupid mistake…I had to remove my day old Dexcom because of the MRI….my own fault.

Every morning scrolling past your shared numbers I have a tiny piece of health envy seeing those sixes, fives and fours. However it’s also truly a privilege to be able to share in your achievements and commitment to improvement and ongoing challenges for those whose numbers arnt what they need / want them to be

Today I start with seven point three having just got out of bed. On waking I had six point four

On with the day. Take care all

6.4….entirely my own fault ….thise crackers, aka crack, will soon be gone.
Sunny today but there is certainly a smoke smell in the air…those late summer forest fires are to blame. Nothing very local but smoke coming in from the USA and other parts of BC
