Having high blood glucose on a regular base can be a cause of weightloss. And you mentioned going up to the mid teens usually in the morning recently. My GP says Im under control and doing well. Im not concerned re health , just on how to put weight back on after illness and keep my readings in check .
The poll looks good now so maybe wait till it has closed before you say it hasn't worked?I,t hasn't worked. Sorry
Thank you for your replies. It is interesting to note how few people are using medication x 2 and insulin once a day. That confirms that forum queries on this topic is unlikely to promote apt replies. Add to this that I am needing to put on 1/2 stone or more. I am very unusual !! And this forum and website may not be of help. Thanks for taking partIt
Would be helpful to know how many type 2 diabetics reading this specialist thread; take medication AND one dose of insulin a day. see poll .
.
Thank you. I hope this is working for you........ Im on one levemir injection a day, 20 units,(6.45 a.m) and 2 x 500 Metformin. My GP is happy that my diabetes is under control. However I am concerned with certin aspects of this regime.I'm on 1 slow insulin injection a day 40 units and 2x 80mg gliclazide a day.
Noting that the poll has a field for T2 not on insulin.
I didn't contribute to the poll because I found the title misleading compared to the table within.
I suspect that there are more than 6 people on the Forum who are T2 not on Insulin, including myself.
