What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.3 libre
hope everyone enjoyed halloween. did anyone else dress up?

had a fair few guisers knocking most of sweets n stuff gone :) thinking about opening a mini malteasures pack later on and grab 2-3 daughter can have the rest. i'm amazed at how different halloween is now compared to when was small, used to have to do a trick to get the treat hands straight in the treat bowl for so many. couple of the kids came twice and had 3 say a wee joke.

breakfast and lots of chores to do. Very heavy rain this morning. pool yesterday was fairly cold but at least was open was informed heating was fixed...pool will take a good while to get back upto temp. showers on the other hand must of been on an entirely different part of their stem. VERY cold, just like running the tap for 10-15 secs. brrrr

calling them this morning to ask if the showers are fixed yet don't fancy another ice bucket challenge.

After a mug of tea
Libre 4.8
Contour 4.2
Skipping the gym this morning
winner for morning FBG hugs for the lows on graph. still find it weird how for some people reads lower and for others it can read higher :)

Luckily the rain held off for the trick or treaters, but it sure is coming down now! 6.4 today, no surprise, I did nibble a few treats as I waited for the kids. It was quiet this year and at the end I was shoving handfuls of treats at the kids. Their faces, OMG…they hit the motherload.
Gym was more than usual, a 5.5 mile bike ride, shoulders, chest and biceps, abs, and then a 25 min walk. Blood sugar was 4.9 before lunch…low for me and I was super happy.
Happy November

Rather late posting, but 6.5 this morning and missed out on my epsom salt bath last night so woke up dreading the exit from the bed this morning! Placebo or not, the Epsom's and magnesium work for me, so off for a soak now!

6.2 just before breakfast

New libre sensor old was actually difficult to get off stuck well solid was a first being fairly hard to remove. Never had it come off like that before.

Out a wee walk meeting relatives on mainland later lunch likely going to be a coffee due to their choice of eatery

4.27 mmol/L this morning, early riser. Friday I ate some kids Halloween candy, fbg spiked. No more candy and my fbg came down. Chocolate can be surprisingly addictive because of the combination of sugar and fat stimulating dopamine release. Have a nice day everyone.

6.1 today. We had our time change last night, I loved that extra hour of sleep. Gym was the rest of my upper body, a 45 min walk and abs with some stretching.
Sunny and cold today, a very heavy frost this morning as it rained a lot yesterday.
My run the extra Halloween candy to the neighbours…..it’s very dangerous.
